BEEOGRAPHY is a small Greek Bee farm with long term experience in beekeeping. We are situated in Patra, Peloponnesian peninsula, where variables such as unlimited sun, the sea, biodiversity of countryside, plus variety of Greek flora with over 850 species found nowhere in the world, offer the most unique flavours. BEEOGRAPHY honey is a pure natural product that is collected in selected areas of the Greek province, using the most traditional methods. The varieties are distinguished by flavors and aromas that we find locally in different areas. Honey is extracted and packed without thermal process and is offered to you in its purest form, to ensure its health benefits. BEEOGRAPHY FINE HONEY PRODUCTS  OAK TREE HONEY Oak honey is characterized as honey of very high nutrition value. Rich in antioxidants and minerals, it contains large quantities of potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron and sodium. The enzymes it contains support metabolism and vital organ function. Beneficial for digestive system. It is collected in the oak forests of mountainous Achaia and Ilia. Available in jars of 300gr. Το μέλι βελανιδιάς χαρακτηρίζεται ως μέλι πολύ υψηλής διατροφικής αξίας. Πλούσιο σε αντιοξειδωτικά και μέταλλα, περιέχει μεγάλες ποσότητες καλίου, μαγνησίου, φωσφόρου, σιδήρου και νατρίου. Τα ένζυμα που περιέχει υποστηρίζουν το μεταβολισμό και τη ζωτική λειτουργία των οργάνων. Ευεργετικό για το πεπτικό σύστημα. Συλλέγεται στα δάση Βελανιδιάς της ορεινής Αχαΐας και Ηλείας. BEEOGRAPHY FINE HONEY PRODUCTS  PINE HONEY PINE HONEY Pine tree honey is what we call a honeydew of forest honey. It is produced by bees that collect honeydew (sugary secretions) from a scale insect species called Marchallina hellenica, which lives on the bark of certain pine trees. In this case, bees gather nectar from honeydew excreted by the insects of  Marchallina hellenica. Most of honeydew honey boasts stronger antioxidant than the floral varieties. The reason for this is because they contain high levels of flavonoids and phenolic compounds. A 2007 study looked at the differences between nectar and honeydew honey. The conclusion was that honeydew honey are better that nectar honey! Researches also, found that Greek pine honey to be better than all others with regards to its strong antibacterial properties. It  exerted antibacterial effects against the following  bacterium:  Coli, Marcescens, Sphaericus, Epidermidis, Subtilis  Pine tree honey has a full-bodied yet

BEEOGRAPHY FINE HONEY PRODUCTS FOREST HONEY Wild forest honey comes mostly from the honeydew of the trees plus nectar of wild flowers and hence the name. It is collected in the forests of the mountainous Peloponnese. The taste of composition are set to change with seasons. What doesn’ t change in the endless list of benefits.  Most of honeydew honey boasts stronger antioxidant than the floral varieties. The reason for this is because they contain high levels of flavonoids and phenolic compounds. Available in jars of 300gr. Το μέλι δάσους προέρχεται κυρίως από τη συλλογή μελιτωμάτων από τα δέντρα συν το νέκταρ των άγριων λουλουδιών του δάσους. Συλλέγεται στα δάση της ορεινής Πελοποννήσου. Η γεύση της σύνθεσης του μπορεί να αλλάξει ανάλογα με την χρονιά.  Τα μέλια μελιτωμάτων διαθέτουν περισσότερους αντιοξειδωτικούς παράγοντες από τις ποικιλίες ανθέων. Ο λόγος που συμβαίνει αυτό είναι επειδή περιέχουν υψηλά επίπεδα φλαβονοειδών και φαινολικών ενώσεων. Διατίθεται σε συσκευασία των 3
